The small beach of the cale de Mordreuc, located 300m from the gîte, is the perfect place to relax with the family. From this beach, you'll be able to watch the sailing boats passing by on their way from Dinan to Saint-Malo. As the beach is on the banks of the Rance, it is better protected from the wind and offers a more peaceful setting.
Our advice: The beach can be regularly submerged by the tides. We suggest you study the tide calendar available in the gîte to plan your outing.
Starting from the Mordreuc cove in Pleudihen, this 3-hour walk along the banks of the Rance will take you to some remarkable natural sites: "La cale de mordreuc" and its seal, the Prat and Mordreuc tide mills and the Ville Ger.
After this pleasant stroll, we suggest you visit the restaurant recommended by Le Petit Futé: La Cale de Mordreuc, for a delicious meal overlooking the Rance. A word of advice: don't hesitate to book!
Departing from the Cale de Mordreuc, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of our 4 kayaks, provided with the gîte, for a long trip on the Rance, a coastal river in northern Brittany. It rises in the Mené mountains at Collinée, in the Côtes-d'Armor département, and flows into the English Channel between Dinard and Saint-Malo in the Ille-et-Vilaine département.
From "La Cale de mordreuc" you can take a long walk to the port of the medieval town of Dinan.
